Wild World
We've been having warm sunny days and cool nights - nothing to complain about! But it also means that there's quite a lot of action on the few flowers that are still blooming. This collage is of what's happening on just one of the chrysanthemum flowers.
A northern crab spider has caught an insect of the genus jalysus - either a jalysus spinosus or a jalysus wickhami. And then under the same flower is an ailanthus webworm moth possibly hoping not to become the spider's next meal.
It's a wild world out there.
