The Window

There’s still the odd window lit up in the hotel behind us. Squatters maybe?
Headed up to the allotment this afternoon, working myself back in slowly so just strimmed the grass and picked some more kale. But I brought the pumpkin back home as it was attracting a lot of unwanted slug attention. Didn’t humph it up the stairs, instead took the scales down to weigh it - 16 kilos, thought it was heavier! I need a plan of pumpkin action. By my reckoning it would make about 8 gallons of soup and the freezer’s way too small for that. I have a lot of empty jars for chutney though ....
