Neglect

A lot of the morning spent on emails and messages, mainly keeping in touch with old friends and ex-colleagues. Good news and bad news, a bit of an emotional rollercoaster!

Then an attempt at planning ahead, trying to cover all eventualities over the festive season. A difficult one that, as planning ahead is nigh on impossible under present circumstances! At this rate, there'll likely be just the two of us :-(
But, being optimistic, I amended our grocery order and added the ingredients for a Christmas cake. 

A late-afternoon walk down by the river with MrM. 

The sign is fixed to a garden gate not far from us. The owners haven't neglected their garden...
