Sophie & The Birthday Boy

It's Sophie's Daddy Joel's birthday today so here are the two of them (and a bit of Kate!) enjoying a celebratory ice cream sundae in the on site restaurant this evening.

We've had a really enjoyable day, visiting Becky Falls this morning,which is a wonderful area of ancient deciduous forest on Dartmoor complete with waterfall (see extra). It's quite a challenging walk over rocky terrain but great fun.

This afternoon Chris, Tess & I took an easier stroll through the woods here while Sophie took Mummy & Daddy to the playground.
