Droop
There was a wonderfully surprising piece of late afternoon sunshine. It cheered me right up.
Earlier there had been a surprising chat with the newly groomed boy. He is fine and looking forward to the weekend. He plans to go to a different city and to attend a one year olds birthday party and then maybe take in a club with some friends (without the child) and stay in a hotel. I write this because it sounds so alien to anything we can do just now. The freedom is out of reach.
Out in the garden this afternoon, despite being tied up, I found the Dhalia in a constant state of droop. It's how most people I know are feeling just now. There's a bit of a droop about, not much to grumble about but not much to be excited about or look forward to. Just a wee droop.
I used by big camera today and despite the sun and changing to auto or manual settings, the camera seems a little sick. It is struggling to take in the light - perhaps it too is experiencing a wee droop.
The new ski pods in a local restaurant are causing a stir though. Here's hoping the new tiers or court actions will result in us being able to book one soon.
