Beehive

Exciting news yesterday as the garden quote came through and we agreed to go for it.. .it will still take 4 or 5 months before anything starts but it spurred me on to get into the garden and dig up plants I want to save.

The empty planters were at the allotment. The plot next to our is neglected and someone/thing had dug up and uncovered this underground beehive.

As gorgeous and fascinating as it is, it still scares me since I'm allergic to their stings. I presume the bees will try to rebuild it?! What incredible things they are to create these structures, you can't help but admire them.
