Flower Friday

Despite having had a busy day yesterday, a lovely meal and a few drinks out, I didnt sleep very well at all.....probably managed 5 hours :-/
was awake to see the orange glow of sunrise through the blind but way too tired to get up to check it out :-/

We didn't drag ourselves up properly until after 10, had a leisurely breakfast, by which time the rain had started, so we decided to drive into town for the things we needed. Ended up in Costa for a coffee & sandwich.

Back home before 2......shoved some lau dry in whilst the rest of the afternoon was taken up with sorting through hundreds of old photos, binning those that really were rubbish, lots of old cardboard sleeves thrown and photos now neatly grouped and fastened with elastic bands in the new storage boxes bought recently. All the smaller photo albums fit neatly in the storage boxes too :-)

Made tikka paste marinade for diced chicken breasts and a vegetable rogan josh curry for dinner this evening, with basmati rice, poppadoms & mango chutney. Was delish!!

Hubs taken down the old roller blinds from the lounge, our bedroom and the second bedroom, in readiness for our front windows being replaced tomorrow. We need an early night and probably the alarm on as it will be an early start.

My blip is the flowers on my dining table again Im afraid, at least they are still looking good ;-)

Tv to ight will be Riviera, Gogglebox & probably The Twelve, if we can stay awake ;-)
