Moving: Day 3

After a surprisingly good night's sleep on the blow up bed we headed into town to buy a few things we need for the rental. We then sold W's car as we didn't want to bring it over and got a good price for it from one of these online people who guarantee to buy it. We realised that we wouldn't be able to bring everything over in one go so I was fully prepared for a round trip back again over the weekend but my oldest and best friend offered to take the rest of the stuff and drive over tomorrow so he came over to collect it.

A quick visit to say goodbye to the neighbours and we got on the road. Arrived at the rental at about 8pm to a lovely surprise! We've now washed and poured a well earned drink; the unpacking, or at least some of it, can wait until the morning.
