I had an appointment at the hospital today that I’ve been nervous about for ages - mammogram and scan in the breast clinic. it was all fine though and the nurses and docs were so lovely to me, especially as they could see what has happened to me this year. man, the relief. I’ve had a few appointments there before and they’ve always been fine but this year puts a new slant on them for me now. we went to see beth afterwards to give her her new helmsdale toorie as she couldn’t join us. it was lovely to see our big babe, it’s been horrible not seeing her as much this year.
it was ace to relax at night after being so anxious...small victories! mum and dad took me some celebratory sweets round, they had been nervous too. we watched scotland beat georgia at rugby :)
