Lichen

A very muddy walk this morning, so my 3 miles took considerably longer than normal. That, and take the camera with me!

What I've realised is that part of the reason I love taking photos are the colours. I often try to take a black and white shot, but usually I can't bear to see the beautiful colours in the original shot disappear so I leave it in colour. I think you must need a different eye for black and white shots, and I know that not everything works so well in black and white, but I think mostly, I'm going to stick with colour - it's too important to me not to.
