A moment of nostalgia
Do you remember Basildon Bond notepaper? It was the notepaper of choice for my Grandma, who was a prolific letter writer. In my mind's eye, I can see her beautiful copper plate handwriting on that distinctive blue paper. I still have my last letter from her written about 1977. I can't walk passed this clock in Apsley where my daughter and her fiancé and new baby live without thinking of Grandma and of times long gone. It's on the wall of the paper-making factory, long since closed. We live in different times where high quality notepaper and handwriting has almost been made redundant by digital media.
Mind you I've no doubt Grandma would have loved to blip!
