Conker Casing Congestion

Today's images were all taken either in or near my home. The main image is of a path a few hundred yards from where I live that is covered in a deluge of conker casings - they are actually called buckeyes - that have fallen from a large horse chestnut tree. I just thought that this made for a more unusual autumnal image.
The second image is of a stunning tree further down the same street - when I was taking the image it appeared to have become a minor arboreal celebrity - a family had paused their bike ride to take a group selfie in front of it and a delivery driver jumped out of his van to take a picture of it on his smart phone!
The third image is taken through my living room window. I had forgotten the previous night that the clocks were going back and this of course meant it would get darker earlier. I took this image just as the light was beginning to fade and with the low light and shutter speed the image came out with a distinctive blue hue.
