Was It Something We Said

All change on our block of three, our ground floor neighbours to our right have scaffolding erected and having agreed with the upper floor neighbours on a way ahead and colour scheme and are undertaking repairs and renovation.

Our neighbours to our left are moving, Nick, Anna and the children are off to pastures new, not far away, we wish them well and wait to see who our new neighbours might be.

Another quiet day, lockdown routine can be wearing and I remind myself daily; “no more books”, I need to read the dozen or so piling up on the chair next to me.
