Buttermere Lake

Up and at them early to make the most of the beautiful Lake District; a nugget of pure, unspoilt joy...even covid can't spoil that!!

Mum and I headed to Buttermere which was much quieter than the bottlenecks of Ambleside and so on. A stunning walk all the way round the lake with views of the surrounding hills and gushing waterfalls. So much water around!

Brilliant news to hear that Tao Geoghegan Hart has won the Giro - such an incredible achievement!
