The feeling of release and freedom was palpable. After so very long and with covid, I hadn’t quite realised how trapping having no bridge had been. It isn’t essential for me but it makes a huge difference. I went to get some kindling and eggs and drove over the new bridge and went for a walk up, over and round Dunmallard before admiring the sandstone work and then heading home to make cake https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2635227093587201383 and head over to my friend’s for a birthday supper and a lovely evening.
