King Street, Ambleside. It was the tree that caught my eye.

There was torrential rain and a little thunder in the night and today we’ve had more rain, hail and sunny intervals. I did two loads of washing …… the second lot I took a chance and hung it on the line. It was nearly dry by the time the sun went down.

After my walk I intended to sit down with a mug of tea and load my photos onto the laptop. Don’t know how it happened but I dropped a full bottle of milk on the kitchen floor when carrying it from the fridge to worktop. Operation cleanup was put in place.
