MENACING MONDAY

This is the kind of Halloween decor that I do not like, but is very popular in the last few years..  It does make for an interesting MONO MONDAY Blip, though.

It was really great to wake up to a sunny, but chilly morning.  Our town is famous for it's extreme wind, & today is a reminder, with 50MPH
gusts.  I took a good long walk, but the cold wind made it miserable.
It was sunny & dry, which helped a little.  The high winds make us anxious because even a spark can turn into an inferno, in short order.  The landscape is so dry, fires have been started by sparks from trucks on the highway. .  I keep checking Twitter, which is where the most up to date fire info is.

Today I read that 60 million people have taken advantage of EARLY VOTING, & a third of those votes were cast in California.  We are known to be a diverse, reliably Democratic state, but outside the coastal cities of San Francisco, LA, & San Diego,  the inland regions are very Republican.  In fact, a Congressional district in this area,  re-elected their Congressman, even though he & his wife were indicted for election fraud. The details are a bit
racy....

The Guardian has taken notice:

I hope 2021 is the year our President is busy solving problems (Joe Biden),
not inciting the Proud Boys & Neo-Nazis militias (guess who).  And it will be too boring to include in my Blip!
