LD 217. Setting off on a night journey

I was working at home all day with a very full diary of Ministerial meetings and constituency work to be attended to but as I now have three very busy days in Parliament ahead I felt it best to travel to Edinburgh this evening.

However I was chairing the neighbouring Landowners & Stakeholders Group for Kilmartin Museum in a virtual meeting until 7.00pm so it was - for the first time for ages - a three hour trip entirely in the dark and will be for the reverse journey on Thursday too .
