Now we are experiencing the stress of having a fire approximately 9 miles from our house. I've been in touch with my friends CaliforniaGirl and Anaisabel, and we are ready to evacuate needed be. I can only think of our dear friend Wildwood that has experienced this stressful situation so many times!
There is a lot of smoke in the air, and the problem is the erratic Santa Ana winds which can change the course of the fire at any moment. The winds seem to be picking up now.
