I cannot thank you enough for your kind responses to yesterday's photos. They moved me. 
Yosemite Valley is really such a special place! It is framed by the solid and monumental presence of granite monoliths, such as the Half Dome and El Capitan, and enormous and beautiful trees. The autumn colors were spectacular. It made us want to come back every year.
