Golden Times

Met Elaine in the back carpark at Golden Acre this morning.
It was pouring with rain but we both agreed it wasn’t as torrential as yesterday so we pressed on for the longer choice of walk.
We live in different authorities but we are both in Tier 2 of restrictions so we knew we had to stay outdoors.
We went through the underpass to walk past Paul’s Pond then went through the golf course to Cookridge and back.
Trees and underfoot looked beautiful and l have put an example in extras.
It rained the whole time but it was the fine sort that didn’t soak us.
I took two photographs early on and then wrapped my camera in a plastic bag and put it in my rucksack .
On return we saw a table under the wooden shelter at the cafe so we shared a sandwich but each had a scone with clotted cream.
Made a plan to meet next week to walk from here again whatever the weather.
It’s a good place to park the cars and it lies be twixt both our homes.
Of course it could be cancelled as there are rumblings we are both going into Tier 3.
