Bright Words!

What a dismal weather day!! Continual heavy rain until mid after which was followed by heavy rain showers...and now it is back to torrential rain!! 

However, Holly and I got suited and booted in our wet weather gear for a walk and natter this morning. We were absolutely dripping by the time we parted company some two hours later but as we said, this is what we're faced with at the moment...and we've met up in worse places/conditions over the many years!! :-P 

I took a photo of some of the stones which remain on the wall by the local primary school. Many of the stones are now washed clean but some remain decorated. They first appeared back in March during the early days of lockdown. Who would have thought they'd still be there, surrounded by autumn leaves, with as much poignancy as they did in the Spring... 

Looking forward to the next episode of The Sister later tonight. It's absolutely enthralling...incredibly spooky and haunting. An epic thriller!
