Early walk for me as I was out just after 7.30 and home by 9ish. Lovely autumn morning and I made it home before the rain.

Visit to the vets to have the puppy checked over and get weighed - he’s now 12.4kg so no wonder I’m struggling to lift him. The nurse was very happy with him and had some good advice on other crunchy vegetables he could have.

I’d been lucky enough to secure a ticket to the virtual recording of Radio 4’s The Kitchen Cabinet this afternoon - good fun and some interesting cooking tips and food facts.

Waiting to hear what tier we will be placed in on Thursday but it’s looking like Mr PHL’s 60th birthday meal out on the 7th November may need to be rescheduled. So plan B - whatever that is!
