My day off was spent trying to sort out my potential new car. Our friend gave it a mechanical once-over today and gave it the all clear, so the afternoon was a bit of a dash in to town to get out the cash before heading home to try and sort the insurance out. Unfortunately I couldn't get it sorted before the garage closed, so pick up of the car will have to wait until next week.

G and I then head off for a weekend in Norfolk with Laura and Ed; she was dog-sitting for her patents, and thankfully, despite her usual form, Daisy was somehow not car sick on the journey.
