Amazing Acer

I took this photo first thing this morning as the sun was shining through the leaves of the acer tree in our garden. It really is a lovely tree.
It has started to lose its leaves and in the wind they will all be down in a day or so.
Since then it has been rather gloomy and this is the best photo I took all day.

We had a short power cut last night and I noticed some activity in the electrical substation in the grounds of the hotel car park behind us. One of the trucks attending the scene caught my eye, and I snapped it with my phone for today's extra. Whoever does the sign writing on their vehicles needs to have a proof reader, or use a spell checker!
