Home Sweet Home

Another day of heavy rain, accompanied by a few claps of thunder.  The big news for us today was that Merlin was ready to come home.  We drove over at lunchtime and met the lovely Spanish lady vet who, with her team, has been caring for him.  He is now home, on four different medications, and with a shaved tummy!  His eyes and gums are still yellow but we hope with time his liver function will improve.  He is booked in for a blood test next week and over the next few weeks he will be monitored to see how he, and in particular, his liver are coping.
