Friday Snug

At the moment, my little world revolves around work, Merlin and Andy.  During the day, I sit at my desk in the spare bedroom with views over the back garden and the spreading oak tree which is gently shedding its leaves and acorns. 

Merlin has taken to sitting with me whilst I am there.  He is sleeping lots but seems less jaundiced, and has been more his old self today - interested in going for a gentle walk and in eating his meals.  We have also finally found a technique for giving him his many tablets (which he has four times a day) - he was too clever to be fooled by us hiding them in sausages, cheese...you name it we tried it! 

This evening we're staying cosy whilst the wind and rain dominate outside.  We caught up with the news - of Covid, the American election, an earthquake, but then turned to other things to cheer our souls.
