the littleness of Zeke

Something about the scale of this scene made me remember how little this boy still is. He can seem big next to his brother, but he’s very little indeed on a big stretch of beach.

A beautiful walk on the beach at Formby which was brilliantly weathery, just the ticket after all of the indoor time we’ve all endured in past months. I’m actually quite enjoying half term at home thanks to all of the day trips!

Gratefuls:

1. Picnic lunches - they never grow old;
2. A flask of hot tea in the car on the way home;
3. Eve’s delight at finding the greatest shell of her shell hunting career.
