Isaac played contentedly for so long, I kept wondering where he’d gone and then realising he was exactly where I’d left him, deep in thoughtful play.

A very rainy day, spent mainly indoors. I read too much news but then Eve pulled me back to her version of reality and persuaded me to make pineapple upside down cake with her. She was happy with the results.

Gratefuls:

1. A conversation with a friend;
2. Having a washing machine;
3. The sound of rain on glass.
