Red Admiral

On the lemon tree in my garden.
The weather has finally changed! Pouring with rain most of the day but the forecast thunderstorms didn't materialise. Needless to say I didn't get in a swim today, but did manage a rather wet walk, and a little bit of gardening in the few short sunny intervals. The red admirals came out in force when the sun shone, but disappeared the moment it clouded over.
We lit the fire in the evening and put the duvet on the bed.
