Heather

A national holiday today, Ochi Day, commemorating the Greeks refusing to surrender to the Italians in 1940. I walked down to Zarka Beach with 3 friends and had a late lunch of delicious traditional fish with garlic sauce at the beach taverna. Most of the way down the slopes are covered with this lovely pink heather in full bloom at the moment.
