Langsett Reservoir

On our occasional trips across the A616, I often notice the town of Stocksbridge, which is on the far side of the valley, with the Fox Valley Shopping Park running along the bottom. We dropped down to the shops there on Wednesday night to buy something to eat for when we got to the Dovecote Inn and again this morning to get coffees from Costa on our way home.

While I was in fetching an Americano and a capucino for myself and the Minx, respectively, she was busy with maps, indulging my interest in Stocksbridge by finding us a route through the town and then along some lovely little country lanes before we rejoined the A616 by Langsett Reservoir.
