Wet day project

The day was too showery to do any meaningful work outside, so I thought it best to volunteer for some housework.  The vacuum cleaning involved moving chairs and sofas in the sitting room,with the resulting haul of coins and pens.

It reminded me of childhood when my brother and I used to delve down the sides of such furniture in the hope of retrieving something of value, possibly spurred on by the words of the song' Granny's Old Armchair' which my father used to play on an old 78.  Nothing of any value was ever found, but I still live in hope.
