Spring; in Autumn

Another wretchedly wet day when only horse addicts would voluntarily venture out. I set about a Heath Robinson repair of my long handled loppers. The small spring that is necessary for closing the cutter had broken and a replacement could not be found. A piece of high tensile fence wire bent like a hairpin was inserted and may allow some cutting to be done when the weather improves.
