Day 221 A break in the pattern

A day of grey skies, pouring rain and high winds, so miserable that I even lit the gas coal fire in the front room, something I usually try not to do until 1 November.  It did at least give me the opportunity to to give the fireplace a good clean.
I didn't have much enthusiasm  for photography today, so my abstract is rather a hurried effort.  I photographed an evening bag and a silk scarf and decided to go with the  evening bag to make my 'Break in the  Pattern, this week's theme set by our host Ingeborg.  I made two copes of the best shot and put them side by side in Picasa collage maker and then created the break with PS Elements Liquefy filter.
