Day 222 Halloween comes early....

As Violet will not be able to be with us tomorrow night we decided that today would be our Halloween.  It is in any case a very different Halloween for everybody this year due to the various levels of restrictions.  Our street has got round this as one our neighbours, C, has come up with a very cleverly designed Halloween Hunt for the children instead.  She is very artistic and has created a themed picture to be placed in the window of each participating household and Halloween Hunt sheets for each family that would like to join in (with a checklist for the grownups so they know which house has which picture).  Each family can reward their own children with treats when they've completed the list.  Of course most families will do this tomorrow, but C very kindly asked if pictures could go up early which meant that Violet could go with her uncles and aunt this evening.  She did well and had rather a lot of treats, as did we all!
We dressed the dinner table for a Halloween supper and decorated the outside of the house too.  Violet's chosen costume for tonight was Harley Quinn and here you can see her and her mummy in matching outfits.  Sorry no 'real' flowers today.
