The worst of the wind from Storm Aiden was due at about high tide at 5am ish. I waited until about 9 to head to Sandycove with my camera. It was just amazing, I have never seen so much white water, and surf on the inside.
I have a few extras, I couldn’t resist. One is of someone enjoying the swell at the Dock beach.

Otherwise, some tidying in the attic, dukkah, pickled eggs and honeyed figs for the larder. And plenty of time outside with Mowgli. She’ll be glad of the rest when I go back to school.
