The cat is not happy

This happened today... I had a text early morning from the dog breader who asked if we could collect the puppy early in case of lockdown.  So off I trotted, via the supermarket, the pet shop and my friend who had half a lamb waiting for me - and came home rather loaded up, including a whimpering puppy. 

The eldest has barely left the puppies side since I came home, and the youngest keeps asking if we can keep the puppy.   

The cat took one look at the puppy and hasn't been seen since (he's in the house somewhere, but no idea where.  I'm sure that time will sort them both out.... 

Today I'm grateful for: 
The puppy - he really is beautiful! 
The boys being so besotted
Managing to clean up the kitchen after mud, puppy and boys playing inside most of the day... it really was a bomb site!
