A day in the life

Culture

I just got home from a full day of culture, starting at our local theatre company "The village theatre", who gave a play about king Gustav Wasa, who is said to have united the kingdom of Sweden. After that, a 'fika', a cup of coffee at a café with a good friend discussing what we just saw.

Kalmar municipality has generously offered the people living in the area a festival with world music, called "Light on the world" for free. You had to book tickets in advance because of the 50 people limit in the audience but having done that you were offered six different concerts with artists performing mainly folk music from large parts of the world. Thank you Kalmar. The blip shows an amazing group of women singing music from most of the world. They are called "Tetra", worth a listen.

In the morning, as usual I was rehearsing music for my next project. It's beginning to take shape. More on that later.

Now Good night.
