Blue Moon Halloween

I don't remember such a quiet Halloween, ever...usually we go to my cousin's neighborhood, where the kids used to trick-or-treat and now we just admire other kids' costumes. Our street never has any activity; no streetlights or sidewalks. So it's been a nice low-key day. A morning visit to a redevelopment site in the neighboring county where W. works, an afternoon bike ride, and an evening pumpkin carving - kind of a weird one this year. The kids are home scrambling with end-of-quarter assignments, and I's first college app is due tomorrow.
