Happy Halloweeeeeen

I've seen some photos of ghosts constructed out of chicken wire and thought they looked really cool. So the last couple days I tried my hand at making one. It was harder than I thought, but I'm pleased with the result. She's not perfect (and though I wasn't aiming for anything ghoulish she does have a bit of my blood on her!) but was a great deal of fun. Based on a 14th c character of mine.

Drove daughter I. back to UVa this afternoon, had dinner with her, and am on the way home. Just stopped for a break from the rather intense fast driving in the dark. I've been enjoying listening to Halloween stories and legends on a radio program called Inside Appalachia, or similar. Spooky!
