Cold Carpet

A 'melded birthday' outing to the Roman villa at Chedworth (National Trust), with P joining us and meeting up with M&C.

Our first visit.  On various trips between Malvern and Oxford I'd noted rown signs to 'Roman Villa' and when looking for somewhere to meet up, and exchange presents for recent and imminent birthdays, this seemed like a good spot.

Woo, is this place in the middle of nowhere.

Still, some very impressive mosaics in what must have been a very, very impressive home.  

Although one of the less spectacular, I think my favourite was the 'bathroom rug' in the Tepidarium - in the extras.
