Exit stage left

Strike one

There's something equally depressing, cathartic and optimistic about striking a stage set. I've had a fantastic time working on a great play with an amazing bunch of people and am incredibly sad that it's over. Yet even in the get out and clear up today they were marking the stage up for the next play. Always moving on to new and exciting ventures. I'm not involved in the next play but am in a musical* and have sorely neglected rehearsals for the past few weeks. Moving on....

The rest of the day has involved some mundane domestic duties, a much needed supermarket trip and me finally listening to my feet and resting. But the highlight was a beautiful steak and chips dinner cooked for me by K. Quality food, quality company and quality time. Now bring on the madness.

Happy days

* or at least I am at the moment. If me suddenly having to stop dancing mid way through setting the show causes too many problems, I'll drop out.
