Up on’t Moors

We travelled to an orienteering event on the edge of the North York Moors. On the way we travelled through mist and lashing rain and did question what we were doing. However it cleared as we dropped down onto the coast road. The wind was challenging as was the heathery terrain.

Neither of us had the best of days with navigation. That aside we got round with Richard describing his run as ‘epic’ ! This is him still smiling at the finish.

We called in at Hutton le Hole on the way back home to get a photo but liked this photo as a reminder of the day. Just don’t tell Richard I posted it!
