Lumber Jill’s in Autumn

Very much a recovery day after the rigours of yesterday. 

Popped up to the Adderstone in Dalby (see insert in the extra). Just as we were leaving the light suddenly caught Ray Lonsdale’s Lumber Jill’s sculpture. The light and Autumn colours really caught my eye. It wasn’t until I uploaded it that I saw how the light had made the face of the thumbnail figure have flesh tones. If you look at the extras you will see it is made of the same material as the rest of the sculpture. An interesting trick of the light.
