Bat!

Bat but which one? Trawling around the shore at Dunure not too far from Ayr, Scotland. Bright as day but a relatively warm 8C or so, the conditions maybe brought this character out of hibernation. It skitted about until I got my 500mm on then disappeared before I got another crack at it.Not easy. I know not a lot about bats but I am sure there are smart nat hist blippers who might be able to identify it. Please don't ask me about its nose or ears - we didn't get that intimate unfortunately. Quality is poor due to a lot of cropping.
