Aphid

This is rather an ugly photo I reckon...but its one of only three that I took and the only one that had the pesky aphid slightly recognisable.

It is Tuesday, that means Tiny Tuesday.  I had 5 minutes before the Melbourne Cup started so outside I went and found this little fellow languishing in the seed head of my once lovely, but now well passed Pasque Flower..

The day has disappeared with nothing to show for it.

Two community Covid cases today which is very disappointing, and just up the road in Christchurch. They are both hotel workers in a Quarantine Hotel facility.  The Sudima Hotel is being used exclusively by Russian and Ukrainian fishermen, who arrived on a charter flight paid for by three major fishing companies.  The first intake of 240 crew members were due to leave the hotel today after seventy-four of them who had tested positive completed their stand-down.  They now have to wait at least another 24 hours it. 
*sigh*
