Blue sky

It wasn't like this all day, but it was beautiful while it lasted. This silver birch by our front gate is tall and weedy because it used to be overshadowed by a large beech tree. When the beech was taken down we wondered whether the silver birch would thicken up but it is still a delicate, but rather beautiful specimen.
I have started a new embroidery. It will be a Christmas present, so no progress pictures on Blipfoto. It will keep me occupied during lockdown.
