Nighttime November Rose
We have roses on a wall facing our driveway which usually flower in mid to late summer but are badly affected by powdery mildew. I usually manage to control it by pruning it back hard and get a decent crop of small red roses. For some strange reason a single red rose has decided to flower at the start of November. This has never happened before. A little joy in such troubled times! I took a picture of it tonight as we are due a hard frost and I wanted to capture it before nature takes it's course.
