Dragonfly Dazzle

Today was one of the most glorious autumn days we have had this year. The light was amazing and I hope this is represented somewhat by this image with it's shafts of sunlight. As you can see this is not a real dragonfly (just a garden ornament) but I loved the shapes and contrast created by the gorgeous light.
l left the house early this morning for a 4 mile run up to the North Downs and through our local vineyard via Eccles and back home. There was a large uphill section but the compensation was that this meant there was also a downhill reward and I just coasted along enjoying the sunshine and all the glorious autumn colours. Marvellous!
